Use this Code to Hide the Advertisement Box that appears in the Right side of your User Details Section:

Code: Select all

#about-right .subsection-separator + div {display: none !important;}


Place this code in your Customize Profile Section


If you have a Profile Skin on, you'll have to remove it first!
Otherwise, any codes in your Customize Profile Section won't be activated!

How to Strip the CSS code from a hi5 Skin:

1. Go to your profile page, and make sure your skin is on your profile. From your browser's menu select View Source to bring up the code. (In Firefox, go to View--Page Source. In IE, go to View--Source.)

2. Search for or scroll down until you find this line: <div id="p_center">

3. Right underneath, there is a <style> tag. Copy everything in between <style type="text/css"> and </style>

4. Send this to your friends, and have them paste it in the Style box on the Customize Profile page. Make sure your friends remove any skin they might have on their profile, and any code they might have in the Style box before they paste in your skin's code.

Once your hi5 Profile now has a "CSS Extracted/CSS made" skin,
Paste the Code above anywhere in the Style box of the Customize Profile Page.


Here are some other codes that should work as well for hiding the Advertisement:

because these ads are veeeeery annoying and i think we'd all loveto hide them

I don't think that any users have been penalized for using this code so far.

So maybe it's ok to go ahead and use this.
