Hi everyone!

I know I have been away from these Boards for quite some time.
I'm sorry about that.

I have been busy working on some important Business sites of mine.

Anyway, I hope to be around a bit this week, to help get things in order, and to make some upgrades to the Forums.



Here are some things I'm hoping to accomplish this week!

1) Promotion of Moderators

We have several Moderators on these Forums, all of which have worked hard at providing assistance to the users of our Forums.

I am planing on promoting some of those who have really stood out in service to our Community!


2) Recruiting new Moderators

I am planning on doing some work to help these Forums expand soon.

So hopefully, by this Christmas, we should have many new members joining.

Those who are interested in becoming a new Moderator of these Forums, please apply by simply making a post on this Topic.

You can use this Format:

Remember, a Moderator position is not a Commitment, it is rather a Privilege.

You Do NOT need to dedicate your time to visit the boards Daily, Weekly or even Monthly!
But you will still be expected to help out in some way from time to time.

You will be given the authority to:
Edit/Delete user Posts.
Enter Private Forums that Normal Members cannot see or Enter.
Make decisions as to what is allowed on these Forums.
Ban/Suspend members for inappropriate conduct.
And much more!

I will insist again!
You must not abuse your power as a Moderator in any case!
You can be reported by normal Members,
And if you are found to be guilty of unfair treatment to the members, you can potentially use your Title at once.


3) Installation of New Modifications

I'm hoping on installing a few new MODs this week for our Forums.

Multi Rank MOD, is one that I am hoping to soon install.

You will be able to join different Groups/Teams, and have a new rank associated with it.

Other cool stuff should be coming soon!

I had previously attempted to install a Custom Title Mod.

The installation did not work 100%

The end result, was supposed to allow all Forum Members to choose an additional Custom Title of their own.
They could Edit it and Remove the Title at will.

Unfortunately, the installation did not go as planned.
I believe another Modification may be conflicting with this one.

So, the option to choose your own Custom Title does not appear in the UCP (User Control Panel)

So I decided to do a workaround for now.

4) Custom User Titles

Because as I explained above, the Custom Title Modification did not go as planned.

5) New Forum Look!

I'm hoping to to spend some time this coming vacation, on restyling our Forums.

I'll be starting soon, but you guys won't be seeing any changes until I'm done.

I'll be working on the new Layout in a Private Forum I will make.


6) User Ranks

New icons for Normal User Ranks.

Currently, there are no Rank images for normal users.

As your Post count increases, your Rank also increases on these Forums,

I plan to create new rank images for every level a user raises.

I'm in the middle of installing the Multi Ranks right now.

It's a pretty long modification with allot of internal php & SQL changes.

I should be done by today!

Sorry for not being around for quite some time.
But I've been very busy as usual with several other matters.

Thanks allot for steeping up for Moderators WhiteLine and Gloom3tsu!
I appreciate your interest in these Forums and our Community.

I had previously planned, on doing some stuff to increase our exposure.
Our Membership would greatly increase, and the Forum activity.

I have not gotten around to Promote the Forums yet though,
so sadly to say, I will not Promote any new Moderators until I am ready for this changeover.

WhiteLine and Gloom3tsu however, will be listed however, to be considered to be chosen for promotion when that time comes.

I would also like all members, including these two, to be more active in the Forums, before submitting to become a Moderator.
As I believe one of the other Mods Duke, had wrote sometime back,
Moderators should be persons I can absolutely trust.

And I do put my trust in everyone here,
but it will be only wise, to see the members around the Forums often, and learn about them more firstly, before Promoting them to become a Moderator.
